Charcuterie Courses - Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
How to cancel
To cancel a course place please notify us by telephone, and speak to Sarah or Jackie . Late cancellations often have an impact on other customers and the business and therefore we do not offer refunds on course cancellations made less than 30 days before the start of a course.
Course transfers
If you are unable to attend a course you may request to transfer your booking to another date subject to availability. Transfers are not available if requested less than 30 days prior to the start of a course, as it is unlikely we will be able to fill your place at such short notice and we will already have incurred costs. Any monies on account which have not been used against other bookings after 6 months from date of payment receipt will be deemed invalid
You can transfer your booking to someone else at any time as long as payment has been received in full and you notify us who will be attending at least 48 hours in advance of the course.
Refunds
Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to the course start date can be transferred to an alternative date. Or you can request a refund of the fee paid, less a 25% non-refundable deposit. Refunds may take up to 5 working days to process from receipt of request and are made to the source of the payment received, unless otherwise agreed with the original purchaser. The funds can then take a further 3 working days to clear your account.
Non attendance
Any non-attendance on bookings without prior cancellation will not be transferred to another course and all payments received will be retained.
Cancellations by Marsh Pig
In the event that Marsh Pig cancels a course, we will offer a full refund of payment already received, or a transfer to an alternative date for the same course if available. Any additional cost will have to be paid in accordance with our terms and conditions. Refunds will be paid within 5 working days but may take a further 3 working days to clear your account. In the event of cancellation we will give as much notice as possible and will notify you using the contact details registered to your account. Please make sure these are correct and up to date.
Accommodation and travel costs
Marsh Pig cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel bookings or accommodation costs incurred by customers. We strongly recommend that customers have a suitable travel insurance policy in place, particularly if you will incur substantial accommodation and travel costs to attend a course booking. Insurance can provide cover for many occurrences that may prevent you from attending your course such as illness, bereavement, travel disruption etc. Marsh Pig can provide proof of payment in support of any claim on your travel insurance.
